“It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.”
– Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Kristin believes that there is joy in the simple things. When she completed sommelier training, she began to understand that extra virgin olive oil is, in fact, the epitome of simplicity. Olive oil is fruit juice, pure and basic. Kristin believes that this ancient ingredient has the power to improve modern lives. She uses her expertise to curate a collection of exceptional olive oils that she hopes will bring joy into your life.

Kristin grew up with olive oil on the table. Although she has extensive culinary experience both as a cook and as an avid student of food anthropology and history, Kristin’s most important cooking lessons were in her grandmother’s modest kitchen, where simple Italian dishes were anointed with generous amounts of olive oil.

A life-long learner, Kristin is currently a Master of Public Health candidate at Yale University. She is grateful to have had the opportunity to earn an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Kristin also appreciates her experience as a Brown University student, the beginning of her studies in public health.

Kristin has a long history of supporting institutions that are committed to exceptional work in healthcare, education and the arts. She is especially proud of her relationships with the New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, The Storefront Academy Charter Schools of Harlem and the South Bronx, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

Kristin enthusiastically commends the fine efforts of the Yale School of Public Health and the University of California, Davis to create awareness about the potential of olive oil to improve both human and planetary health.
